He has been designing and building single-family homes and commercial buildings in the West Augusta and Columbia County areas for more than 15 years. Pierwood Construction’s emergence as one of Columbia County’s premier design/build firms is rooted in their motto “When Quality Counts!” Vice President, Ken Richards has been with Pierwood since 1993, and has continuously provided Pierwood with a progressive outlook. Pierwood’s strong team approach towards quality construction and customer service is keeping them in the forefront of the CSRA building industry. The field supervisors are assigned to individual projects and are experienced in and are knowledgeable of Pierwood construction techniques. Tom and Ken are both Past Presidents of the Builder’s Association of Metro Augusta and both also currently serve as active board members of this association.
