TOM WERNER (CEO) Tom Werner started Pierwood Construction out of his home in Evans in 1988, building around 15 homes a year. Today, Pierwood Construction Company is one of the larger residential homebuilders in Metro Augusta, building on average 60 new homes each year. Tom strives daily to make Pierwood the best new home builder in the market. Tom currently presides as President of the Builders Association of Metro Augusta (BAMA), and is also a Past President of the association. He is also a state director for the Home Builders Association of Georgia (HBAG), and national director for the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). He is strongly involved in every aspect of the day-to-day operations of Pierwood Construction. On the cutting edge of new and dynamic designs, Ken stresses large open floor plans for today's lifestyle. He takes great pride in being able to transform a client's idea into a custom home. Ken is a people person and has a great rapport with customers and suppliers alike. He is very detail oriented and a tremendous asset to Pierwood. Ken received his bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering Technology from the Southern Polytechnic State University. A native Augustan, she graduated from Augusta State University receiving a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in accounting. Denise is responsible for negotiating the prices of materials with our suppliers and the price with our sub-contractors. This allows us to give a fair price to our homeowners without cutting any corners. Denise, her husband Andy, and daughter Felecia live in Martinez. Now a full time employee with a Bachelors of Architecture degree from Southern Polytechnic State University, Nathan is becoming more involved with the day-to-day operations for Pierwood. Nathan spends time daily on new home designs. She is responsible for bringing all of our plans up to date by using the Computer Aided Drafting software (CADD). Jean also assists our customers in making the interior and exterior selections for their new home as well as making the selections for our Spec homes. Jean lives in Hephzibah, Georgia with her husband Seth and their daughters Amanda and Heather. David lives in Augusta with his wife Wendy and their son Michael.         PAUL ANDREWS (Field Supervisor) Paul is a Pierwood field supervisor, and has been involved in the construction industry for 8 years. With a B. S. in Building Construction from Georgia Tech, Paul is dedicated to building a superior home. Paul manages such communities as Highgrove, Rose Pointe, and Woodlief. Paul currently resides in Martinez with his wife Brook.         GEORGE BAKER (Punch-out Technician) As Pierwood’s punch-out specialist, George is involved in every stage of the construction process. George's persistence and drive to finish a job makes him an indispensable asset to the Pierwood Team. George lives in Augusta, works as a full-time diesel mechanic, and devotes two days a week to Pierwood.
