Caulking is used to create a tight seal against moisture in the air.
Time an weather can cause it to shrink and dry so it is important top regularly check the interior and exterior of your home that may need to be re-caulked.
Generally, anywhere that two different building materials meet, should be caulked.

- Around exterior and interior door and window frames - Around pet door entrances - Any areas where wires, pipes, or cables enter your home from the outside - Around toilet bases and faucets - Around sinks, toilets, and tubs - Any settling or separation around baseboards, crown, or other trim
